There is always a kind of magnetism we feel often
You find something not working for you, still continues to try
You find the label "not for sale", still looks at it and wish to buy
You know your money is exhausted, but again swipe your card at ATM
You find someone wishing to stay away, but keep on going closer
You make promises, knowing that you cannot keep them up
Certain things are like this
They don’t change, no matter what effort you make
The sea can be silent for some time,
But the waves can’t stop traveling to the beach
I have tried throwing myself away from you,
many times to the deep and far sea
But the waves keep on bringing me back, to where you stand
